Lilian Naef

Lilian Naef was born on October 29, 1963, in Burgdorf. After her acting training from 1984-1988 at the Conservatory in Bern (now HKB), she was engaged at the Freie Volksbühne in Berlin; this was followed by contracts at various German theaters. She is a founding member of the Geschwister Pfister (Salzburger Stier 1992). Since 1995, Lilian Naef has worked as a freelance actress mainly in Switzerland in her own and "foreign" theater projects and in film.

From 1999-2002 she worked as an actress and director at the Lucerne Theater and from 2002-2006 she led the Theater Marie in Aarau. In 2007 she founded the association EcouteVoir with Veronika Minder and Cristina Achermann. Under this label, theater projects, readings, films and exhibitions were created in the Bern area.

Lilian Naef also teaches breathing, voice and speech technique at various faculties of the University of Bern and privately and is a member of the Geschichten-Home-Delivery-Service. Since 2007, she has also held a teaching position as a communication trainer at the Bern University of Applied Sciences for Health. She currently works as a guest at the Konzerttheater Bern.

She can be seen in various Swiss films, e.g. as the pastor's wife in Herbstzeitlosen or most recently as Barbel in Heidi. She lives and works in Bern.
